This, not to be missed special film program, consists of
experimental shorts by Harrar and classic films featuring Sun
Ra and His Arkestra from the late 60's and early 70's, rarely
seen publicly, restored and preserved by Harrar.

Marshall Allen leader of The Sun Ra Arkestra, James Harrar and Eric Thielemans.

Picture Andrei Tarkovski blended with Sergei Parajdanov, think 
of saints and peacocks in artful mosaics, slow moving images, fixed 
camera viewpoints and processed imagery.

Hear a superb ensemble, play complex sounds that are passionate, driving, haunting,
powerful and liberating, complete with artfully deconstructed Space Chants to celebrate Sun Ra and his legacy.
